Risk Intelligence Models¶
The supply chain risk intelligence component of the CILM framework utilizes analytical models to assess and quantify risks associated with electronic component suppliers and procurement channels.
Empirical Foundation: CILM-IRI Dataset¶
The risk modeling framework is empirically supported by the CILM-IRI dataset (N=67). This dataset provides the quantitative foundation for the risk intelligence models and is archived under IEEE DataPort DOI: 10.21227/34y3-zj88.
CIRS Scoring Framework¶
The CILM framework utilizes the Component Intelligence Risk Score (CIRS) to quantify supplier and supply chain risk. CIRS is a 5-indicator weighted composite scoring framework, resulting in a risk index ranging from 0.00 to 1.00.
The analytical model integrates multiple dimensions of supplier performance and documentation integrity to generate a structured risk assessment.
Note: CILM is an independent methodology and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAE, IEEE, NIST, or any U.S. government agency.
